I know many of you know (or at least have heard) that the Bosch mixer is excellent for making bread (and lots of it!) but did you know that you can use it to shred chicken in under 10 seconds? Neither did I, until Bob from www.mykitchencenter.com showed me. It’s AMAZING!

And of course, don’t forget that you could win one of these amazing machines this month on my blog. Click HERE for more information!

  1. That’s awesome! 😀 I hope I win!! 😀 THANKS!

  2. Hand beaters in a deep bowl (because the chicken will fly!) will do the same thing. Well, not 10 seconds. But less than 2 minutes, for sure. I learned this recently. I will never shred chicken by hand again!

  3. This is amazing! I’ve had a Bosch for how long? I had no idea it could do this!!

  4. Love It!! I own that very machine and I would have never thought to do that!! I also love the plug for the pressure cooker which I think is a wonderfully frugal and useful tool in the kitchen. FYI: For whatever reason the link you pasted-in for the Sandy Bosch didn’t work. When I typed in the address, it worked. ???? Keep up the awesome work you are doing! I tell anyone that wants to know, all about your website and it is still my homepage. 🙂

  5. Can’t wait to try this new technique. TFS

  8. Make sure your meat is very soft. Those wire whips bend quite easily. My kids once used them for cookies; what a mangled mess! I was really surprised to see this and now I am going to try it. I hate shredding meat! Thanks! I always learn something from you!

  9. thanks for sharing this with me Maribeth!! Ü

  10. I’m about to throw some chicken in my Bosch for the first time. I’m not gonna lie, I’m nervous…the instructions say the whips are only or liquid…last time I checked…chicken ain’t liquid. If this works, I don’t think I’ll have a reason to miss my kitchen aid anymore. 🙂

    1. So how did it work?
