Okay, so there are a lot of things you’re supposed to prune: fruit trees, rose bushes, but tomatoes?! I had no idea. But there was a lot I never knew about gardening. And obviously, after seeing how large and in charge my garden is now (click HERE if you missed last week’s post) I’m a believer in ANYTHING Belinda tells me to do to have a successful garden. Pruning your tomatoes actually help produce more fruit (just like any pruning) and helps to grow up a vertical trellis. So GREAT! She has also thrown in some great tips on how to feed your plants in the hot Summer months.

  1. I have been planning to start a garden for ages and I think I will finally be able to do so this year. Tomatoes are on my list of produce to plant and like you I also had no clue they were supposed to be pruned. Cheers for the heads-up!
