cinnamon rolls

Okay, one last mall favorite…Cinnabons.  Mmmmmm…..doesn’t it make your mouth water just thinking of that amazing cinnamon and frosting and the warm gooey-ness.  These have become a family favorite.  In fact, that is all my mom wanted for her birthday, warm, home-made Cinnabon cinnamon rolls delivered to her door for breakfast.  I, of course, was happy to oblige.  I love any really good excuse to make (and then eat) these cinnamon rolls. (In fact, just writing this post makes me think I should make some…) I will say that one easy trick to these rolls is the right cinnamon.  My brother always says that old cheap cinnamon tastes like sawdust, and you know what?!  I think he’s right.  Once you switch to a high quality cinnamon, you’ll never go back.  Lucky for you, if you live near a Costco, a high quality cinnamon is only a few dollars and down the spice aisle.  It will make everything you make with cinnamon absolutely delicious.  These are easy to put some wheat flour in and all sorts of other food storage ingredients.  They are awesome on so many levels.
