One of my favorite aspects of food storage is the ability to make ingredients at home so you don’t have to run to the store.  So just like you can make homemade brown sugar, you can also make homemade powdered sugar.  All you need is some granulated (regular) sugar, a blender, and some cornstarch and you’re there!

HOW TO MAKE DIY POWDERED SUGAR

1 C. sugar +1 T. cornstarch+blending in your blender=powdered sugar

The cornstarch will help keep it from clumping.  It’s important that you don’t try and do more than one cup at a time in your blender. It works much better in smaller batches.  SUPER EASY!

  1. I vacuum dry ingredients like sugar, brown sugar, flour and many more. Protects food from ants, flour moths etc. I love mine. I bought 2 attachments… One for regular mouth jars and one for wide mouth jars. You, also, need to BUY the hose attachment.
