To a lot of people this step of food storage is the scariest but, like most food storage principles, it is actually quite easy! I get asked questions all the time about what and LDS cannery is like and/or what it’s like to can things at home so watch the video to see how to work the “canner” or sealer.

  1. Your blog is timely reinforcement about the purpose of blogs and what I aspire to as well. Really good one!

  2. Do you know if you can make your own mixes? I am having the hardest time finding anything about what you can put in #10 cans at home. We have a dry hot chocolate mix we love and want to can, just not sure if it will hold up. Dry soup mixes, mixing your mac and cheese mix in a #10 can would be amazing having 2 toddlers. If you could get back to me soon that would be amazing, thanks.

    1. Yes, this whole month is about mixes!

  3. Where did you get the apron you are wearing in this video. I really like it. I think my grandma had one just like it.
