Taco Tuesday & Homemade Taco Seasoning

1Heat skillet to medium high heat.
2Place ground beef in skillet until juices are released.
3Add in cracked wheat and continue to cook until meat is browned.
4Pour in water and taco seasoning.
5Cover and simmer for 30-45 minutes.
6Cool meat and freeze extra meat for easy future meals.
7Prepare tacos by layering meat, cheese, salsa, shredded lettuce, tomatoes and any other taco ingredient your family enjoys.
Homemade Taco Seasoning
1 tablespoon chili powder (try California chili powder!)
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 teaspoon paprika
1 1/2 teaspoons ground cumin
1 teaspoon sea salt
1 teaspoon pepper
