Doesn’t this soup look amazing?  Special thanks to Staci for sharing the recipe AND a beautiful picture.  I guess it’s time to admit that Fall is around the corner…time to break out the soup recipes!

Staci says…”I just got this recipe today from my mom-in-law and just HAD to share with you!! I made it 100% with food storage! You’d be so proud!! I also baked up a loaf of Schwans’ Honey Wheat bread…. soo good! I’m not a bread maker — yet — so this will have to suffice. I’m sure your bread would be better! Here ya go! Thanks again for the great website!”

  1. Yumo I made this for dinner and everyone loved it.

  2. Great recipe!  I made this for dinner yesterday and my family really liked it!  I just used one pound of ground beef and it was plenty.  I used a variety of fresh, dried, and canned vegetables and they all worked well.  I also used the French Onion Soup Mix recipe from Mix-A-Meal Cookbook by Deanna Bean & Lorna Shute.  The only thing I’d like to change is to find real beef bouillon instead of the bases that have MSG/Yeast Extracts.  Any suggestions on where to find a healthy version?

  3. I can’t believe you still have this posted!! Thank you!! Love your site!! 🙂
