So with my move to Arizona, I made a goal to learn how to use my Sun Oven more. After all, I now live in the valley of the sun and as you can guess it’s HOT here! There is all sorts of crazy things here the electricity costs a whole lot more during certain hours, which just happen to be during the dinner hour. Plus, when you’re paying so much for air conditioning (people call it their “cooling bill” here), there is no point heating your house up with the oven only to double pay to cool it back down. Before I moved, I got the new All-American Sun Oven but haven’t had time to pull it out until recently. The only way to learn how to use something is to use it. So I made a goal to use it every day for three weeks. The next posts are my Sun Oven journal. Everything I’ve learned, baked, and cooked (you’d be surprised at what you can do!) when I decided to use my Sun Oven every day.
