Ingredients
2 (14.5 oz) cans diced tomatoes
1 (6 oz) can tomato paste
4 Tbsp. chopped fresh parsley or basil (or 2 Tbsp. dried parsley or basil)
1 clove garlic
1 tsp. dried oregano
1 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
2 Tbsp. olive oil
1/3 cup finely diced onions (or 3 Tbsp. dehydrated or minced onion)
1/2 cup beef or chicken broth
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, if desired (I'm talking the Kraft-style cheese)
Directions
1Combine ingredients in blender or food processor.
2If desired, simmer for 30 minutes before topping noodles (this enhances the flavors, but if you're in a rush, you can heat the sauce over the noodles.)
