Here is my own tip that I learned last year-only a raving patty pan squash loving person would plant FOUR plants. So, yes, I must have been a raving patty pan squash lover…or at least this year I’m only going to plant one! It’s a good thing one of my best friends loves them so I could share with her!
And did you see my cantaloupe? It is actually got big! AND…AND it ripened before it got cold-it was the most delicious canteloupe I’d ever eaten! I’m also getting really excited to plant more heirloom varieties because I can save the seeds on those and use them next year! It’s a very liberating feeling to know I can have my own seeds for free basically.
