Welcome to Fall! My goodness, where did the Summer go? I can’t believe everyone is back in school, alarms are buzzing earlier, tables are filled with homework, school pencils arer being sharpened and it’s time to get back on track! Did you know that studies show that eating a wholesome breakfast boosts brain power? It’s true! Those shredded mini wheat commercials don’t lie. That’s why this month I’m focusing on easy wholesome breakfasts to jump start YOU and your kids morning. I’m talking about mixes, quick breakfasts, new twists on cereals (READ: homemade cereals), and how to be Super Mom. We’ll also talk about some fun ideas for recreating some of your kids favorite treats (Pop Tarts, fruit roll ups, etc) with a little (or a lot) more nutrition and homemade goodness and some easy lunch ideas to keep you from making sandwiches everyday.
