So sorry about your grandfather. How wonderful the memories you must have of him. Thank you for all your hard work on your blog. Best wishes for the holidays. Sherry
Kanab is the second greatest place as our homestead is first! (in Big Lake, Alaska) We took the children on a five month camping trip to hike and explore the southwest US and into Mexico. They were looking for a better place to live…. When we returned, they said we had found the best spot, but Kanab was our favorite as it had the only place where our camping in our tent trailer was quiet. Instead of being between freeways, we were situated right next to the cemetery! The people are also incredibly friendly. We were looking and pointing at the big “K” on the hill. All of the vehicles stopped on the highway so we could cross! We figured we better cross even though that was not our intention! We love Kanab! They also have the BEST thrift store! We return there every chance we get!
