Don’t get caught in the dark in the event of a true emergency! Have you ever thought of having lights on around your house that automatically turn on when the power goes out? Because you should! Not only is it a great way to have light all around your house if the power goes out but it will help you get out of your house (especially in case of fire because with most house fires the power is one of the first things to go). Most lights you can even detach and use as flash lights.
I got these lights about a year and a half ago at Costco and I have to say that I LOVE THEM! They automatically turn on when the power goes out (which as already come in handy-one night we came home and the power was out-very nice to have lights on around the house so we could find our way around) and you can detach the flashlight to use to get out of the house plus it doubles as a flashing light for rescue purposes. The other added bonus is that the bottom is a great night light and it turns on when it senses it’s dark. This is a GREAT Christmas present for yourself or others.
