Shelf-Stable Homemade Cotton Candy Ice Cream

This delicious, easy homemade ice cream is made entirely from food storage and much better than store bought varieties. Plus, who doesn't love the amazing flavor of cotton candy. It takes you right back to the circus!

Directions
1If you're making your own sweetened condensed milk, combine ingredients in a blender and blend until well combined.
2Whip cream in stand mixer or with a hand mixer until stiff peaks form, taking care not to over-whip the cream.
3Fold the sweetened condensed milk into the whipped cream and add in cotton candy extract. Divide mixture into three bowls and add 4-5 drops neon blue, pink and purple food coloring (one color per bowl) to the bowls.
4Add to freezer safe container in dollops, alternating between the colors. Freeze for 4-5 hours, or until firm. Remove from freezer 10 minutes before serving to soften. Scoop, serve, and enjoy!
Make your own sweetened condensed milk from food storage by combining 1/2 cup hot water, 1 cup sugar, 1 cup powdered milk and 1 Tbsp. butter in a blender and blending until well combined. Use in any recipe calling for one 14 oz. can of sweetened condensed milk!
