So one of our favorite Summer meals is BBQ meatballs. You know those yummy cocktail meatballs but we just serve them over rice with veggies and fruit. I thought this would be a great Sun Oven experiment.
Would the meatballs brown in the Sun Oven? Turns out they do! They were delicious! I just made the meatballs and cooked them in the Sun Oven for about 30 minutes. Then I moved the meatballs to a pot with a lid, covered with barbecue sauce and some pineapple tidbits and stuck it back in the Sun Oven for a few hours while we went out and enjoyed the Summer. I’ve got to tell you, I’m really loving cooking with the Sun Oven! I love getting dinner ready in the morning and having it ready to eat when we get back home for a day of adventuring.
