Many of you may have seen my homemade food storage tortillas post and watched the video that is included with the post to show you how to make them. Since then I’ve had a lot of questions about turning it into a whole wheat recipe. Lucky for me, Yolanda sent me a recipe from the Lean and Free 200 Plus Book. She said, “I went to your class – really enjoyed it. I love the bean substitution idea. My kids don’t even know. Thank you for your time and energy!

Thanks for sharing this recipe. I love tortillas and now I can make healthy ones!
Thank you Crystal for the recipe. I’m going to take the ingredients on vacation so I can make fresh homemade tortillas in the cabin. (PS, I’m Stasha’s sister-in-law 🙂
So good to hear from you!

Brilliant. We love tortillas around here, so this should help keep the grocery bill nice and low!
How can I make these LOW CARB? Would you suggest I add in some Oat Fiber or other to cut carb count? thnx-p.s. I am brand new to your site- started storage 2yrs ago here in NJ after living thru Hurricane Irene. Thank GOD for preparing, as I went thru Hurricane Sandy very easily. I PRAY ALL YOU ladies will heed this lovely gal’s advice here- and start prepping. None of us are immune from Mommy Nature.
