Desserts made from sweetened condensed milk are very rich, ooey and gooey delicious! Sweetened condensed milk was actually started back in Civil War times as a way for soldiers to have milk that wouldn’t go bad. Pretty interesting, huh? Anyway, this recipe pictured above is a favorite at our house and now that we know how to make sweetened condensed milk out of food storage-it’s even better!
