Here is another one of those easy recipes that you already make that use food storage AND that taste GREAT with wheat (in fact it follows almost all of my food storage tips for knowing which recipes are best for wheat). I brought these to a family picnic yesterday and everyone was eating them from child to grandparent and loving every bite of it…every bite of food storage that is!

I’m gonna make these tomorrow! I love your suggestion for soaking raisins in vanilla! I love vanilla almost as much as my toothbrush! I’m not a raisin fan though, so I am way excited to taste these!

Oh yes, you will definitely enjoy the raisins especially with your love for vanilla. It turns them into juicy vanilla morsels throughout the cookie!

I have never tasted Oatmeal Raisin Cookies. But it looks yummy and i really want to have it. I am going to try this simple and delicious recipe. Thanks!
I made these this morning, actually I made two batches….one with chocolate chips and walnuts and another with craisins, raisins, and walnuts… I used butter flavored shortening because that is what needed to be used up from food storage….they are really good my kids love the chocolate chip ones they wont touch the others they don’t like Craisins or raisins…crazy right?…the only thing I can say negative about them is !!!wow sweet!!! you definitely get the full sugar flavor….I don’t believe anyone would think they were wheat, I ground my wheat fresh and used it immediately….If your having a sweet craving give them a try, I will absolutely be putting this one in my recipe binder!!!
