Okay, so I realize the traditional Dump Cake is more of a dutch oven dessert but since I secretly love Dump Cake (and my kids love to help me make it since it’s pretty much the easiest dessert ever) I thought I’d give it a go in the Sun Oven.
Again, it took a little longer to bake than if I did it in my conventional oven, but it still turned out great! The topping was a little crispy, the inside was warm and gooey, and it was still decadent topped with ice cream. I have to say going into the Summer here in Arizona, I was really expecting to have to give up on some of my favorite baked goods, but I’m so happy I haven’t had to. The Sun Oven has been so fun to cook in and my kids have loved helping me and exploring the Sun Oven with me.
